The X-Bow (pronounced crossbow) is a minimalistic, ultra-lightweight sports car developed by Austrian motorcycle builder KTM. Intended for the most hardcore of enthusiasts, the mid-engined X-Bow is essentially a racecar for the street complete with blistering acceleration, razor-sharp handling and few creature comforts.
Although KTM has yet to reveal much about the KTM X-Bow GT, the following images show a prominent wraparound windscreen and doors, both of which are completely new components for any X-Bow. In addition to these upgrades, the KTM X-Bow GT is rumoured to receive a removable roof panel which can be used as speeds of up to 80mph.
The updates include a especially designed turbocharger, a new sports exhaust system with a 100-cell sports cat with Y-pipe, a high-pressure fuel pump, a pre-feed fuel pump, a sportive suction system and a special water pump to keep things cool. Rounding out the mods its the required ECU to keep it all working flawlessly.
The X-bow’s underbody comes with a completely flat work surface that enables air to slip beneath the car with no creating any move.
